    Professor Handbook

As a professor, you are the heart of Hogwarts. We appreciate your commitment to the students and the success of BTW, and have just a few points to get you on your way.

While many HP role-playing sites utilize lesson schedules and house points, BTW is more focused on plot outside of the classroom. Because of this, there is no requirement for running lessons as a Professor. You may post classes and have students attend if you wish, but you do not need to. This is to allow for a less stressful, and more creative, way of writing on this site.

Another option you have is to write one-shot posts. These are from your character's perspective only, and may be posted as replies on your character's Profile post. You may also wish to post a class thread between your character and only one or two students who you've agreed to do a thread with. In this case, simply write their names in the title of the post, and continue as if other students are in the room. In either instance, please try to keep your NPC's general enough that they do not risk interfering with other user's writings.

If you have any questions, please let the Admins know.
