Thomas greedily rubbed his hands together as he spotted the cupcake he'd packed for himself this morning. He completely forgot that he'd packed himself a cupcake for lunch, but was nonetheless pleased to have the delightful snack at his fingertips. As he ate the carrot cupcake, he ran a hand through his hair and thought about how excited he was that school had finally started. It wasn't that he didn't have a life outside of school; he had plenty going on! It was just that at times, said life outside of school got boring and he abhorred how dramatic and uproarious it got at other times. Why did humans have a predisposition to drama? He didn't want an explanation, didn't care very much that there was none either.
As he waited for his students to arrive he couldn't help but feel a tinge of anticipation. He truly hoped they'd find this lesson... cheerful.
