Thomas sighed as he laid his head onto his desk heavily. He'd finally received a reply from Jeselyn about his excitement over his first day at school, and she'd replied with a measly 100-word response about how she was happy for him. He knew that being an optimist had it's down falls. Sometimes he expected too much from people. Sometimes it was too little. Either way, what he'd been expecting was questions upon questions galore as of to how things were going? What was Hogwarts like? Wasn't he happy to be back? He lifted his head and penned down those very thoughts. He checked the clock, realizing he had a good amount of time before his next lesson started, he headed to the faculty room to get some coffee to refresh himself. After having a quick chat with one of the Healers in the Hospital Wing, he meandered back to his classroom with minutes to spare.
He knew he could've easily just summoned some coffee or had a House Elf bring it, but if he did that he'd be out of shape in no time! Speaking of working out, he poked his stomach and gave a sigh as he realized how brisk his morning runs were going to be. He sipped his coffee peacefully now, waiting for his students to seat themselves.
