Oh Gosh (Humphrey)

Alexxia was walking around the Castle, she was in her own mind when she stumbled upon a boy, he looked to be unconscious or dead, Alexxia ran over to him and felt for a pulse to which he still had. Alexxia ran to the hospital wing to get nurses, she had shown them where the blonde boy was, they brought him back to the wing as she waited outside to here the verdict.

The lead nurse, a stern looking woman who was starting to show signs of gray in her hair had rushed out with another to see what the commotion about when one of their student assistants started shouting about an unconscious student. Madam Hester was what she went by, and she'd ruled the hospital wing with an iron fist ever since she had taken the post. She took her job seriously, and anybody trying to fake illness was ejected immediately and given detention once she reported the lie. This time, however, as soon as she saw the look on Miss Bliss' face she knew it was no joke. Nothing more needed to be said than a look and the Gryffindor rushed the three of them to where Humphrey was. The younger healer, who went by Miss Wexley and was in training was scrambling behind trying to catch up.

Upon arrival Madam Hester ran some basic vital diagnostics to make sure he was stable before levitating him and taking him quickly to the wing. After about fifteen minutes she came back out, motioning Miss Bliss over to her. "Hello again dear, you did well alerting us as soon as you saw what had been going on. He is resting now and is in no serious danger to his life, but his mind...well it's taken quite a bit of psychological damage. We're going to be investigating what caused the damage post haste, as we suspect it was either a homebrewed spell or potion." she explained, boring into her eyes with a piercing blue stare. "If you hear any rumors about what might have caused it tell me, I don't care how ridiculous they sound. When students mess with magic beyond their ken bad things happen, and I'm honestly not sure if he'll have all his mental faculties when he wakes up. Mr. Williams needs a long rest, and if you'd like you can back and see him tomorrow to see how he's doing. Now shoo, we have work to be done and we can't have you underfoot." she said, with a hint of a smile to communicate that she had done well.

It was late the next morning that Humphrey finally woke up, a light headache still there and a bit of a blur to his memory as far as what happened before he passed out. Just flashes, the raised voice of a girl...a girl he sorely missed. His eyes opened wide as the image of who it was crystallized in his mind's eye and he let out a cry as he sat up with a jerk. "Kedzie!"

Alexxia was twiddling her fingers when the head nurse came back out to inform her that he was okay, his mind was just jumbled because of a spell or potion. Who would do that? Alexxia didn't know so she simply nodded when she was dismissed for the day. Alexxia knew that the unknown boy was in good hands as she left for the day.

Alexxia had been wondering if the boy she had basically saved the day before was okay, she didn't know if she should go and see him or not but she did decide she probably should. Alexxia walked towards the hospital and had just entered when the boy shouted a girl's name. "Um, no I have know idea who that is and she isn't me, is she your sister or something? I can go find her and bring her back? Oh! Silly me I am Alexxia Bliss with two xx's in the name I am the one that found you yesterday and brought you here, they said that you were spelled or given a potion that made your mind go all wonky and what not, sorry I'm babbling, I'll shut up now" with that she did shut up and was hesitant before she took a seat near his bed.

Humphrey's memory of the time under the love potion was still hazy, but now that they had flushed his system bits and pieces were fitting themselves to form a rough jigsaw of what had happened and he blanched white in horror and guilt at what he'd done to the girl he'd been in love with before it all happened. "Sorry, that was just...just who I was arguing with before I passed out. It's nice to meet you Miss Bliss, I'm Humphrey Williams. You're a sixth year, aren't you? I'm a fifth." he said, turning to focus on her and file her into his memory for future reference. "I just want to say thanks for helping me out. And also...the girl who did this in case they don't already is Alicia. She bragged about it to me that she'd made the potion herself." he explained.

Alexxia listened intently on what he was saying, she felt bad for him, he had been in love before the girl named Alicia had given him a love potion. "It's nice to meet you too but are you okay? You sound like you've had it rough. I'm sorry Alicia took your mind away from you and played with it. Do you know what you're going to do now that you're back to yourself?" Alexxia asked curiously. Alexxia jumped when she heard a screech.

"Humpy!! I heard you were found unconscious? How are you hunny? When can you get out? I'm horny and need you.. Who the fuck are you?" Alicia asked the girl standing there.

"Alexxia, I am the one who found him" oh Alexxia knew who this was.

Humphrey was about to answer the girl who appeared to be genuinely kind when he was interrupted by what sounded like the screams of a banshee coming his direction. The headache that had been lingering heightened instantly and he winced at the pain. "Sorry about the intrusion, Miss Bliss. As for who this is, Alicia...she's one of your housemates so I would guess you should know already." he said, glaring at her.

"My mind is my own again...leave before I decide to stop playing nice. I still haven't decided whether to charge you or not for what you did." Humphrey said, steel he rarely showed presenting itself. "Leave, and don't you dare meddle in my life again." he repeated. He didn't take his eyes from the popularity queen, making sure she didn't try to pull anything more while he wasn't looking.

Alicia looked at Humphrey and saw in fact that he was back to his old self, the dumbass nurses screwed up everything for her! She wanted to take down Kedzie but she needed Humphrey to do so and now she lost him because of the dumb nurses! "It does in fact look like you're back to your boring self but let me ask you this Humphrey, do you think Kedzie is going to take you back? I mean come on! You called her a whore along with other words and you fucked me plenty of times and practically rubbed her nose in it, so tell me Humpy, why would she want someone who didn't love her enough to fight off that potion I slipped you? She will hate you" Alicia was hoping he was getting hurt, she made his miserable life better then Kedzie could.

Alexxia spoke up feeling bad for Humphrey. "Look you should really go, we don't want him feeling worse then he does, his head is probably already in so much pain" Alexxia tried to be nice but it didn't stop Alicia from smacking her and the impact causing her to stumble, her face hurt.

Humphrey was doing his best to keep a calm mask up as Alicia talked. He was well aware of what he'd done to her and also with another woman. He knew that even if she understood what happened and didn't blame him there would be a lot of hurt left over that he wasn't sure he would be able to find a way to heal. As he was about to say something the nurse's assistant, Miss Bliss tried to intervene. Upon seeing her literally get smacked and a sizable bruise starting to appear as she stumbled he got up out of bed. "Alexxia, go call the lead nurse." he said, before rounding on Alicia as he stepped between them. His legs were a bit unsteady, but his resolve was strong.

"Alicia, I wasn't sure if I was going to press charges for mind tampering until I just saw that. Now I know that I am, and will be a witness to that girl's case if she charges you with assault. You lost your little game, and not only me but from what I understand Cole in the process. Get over yourself, and grow the hell up." he told her, crossing his arms as he did his best to look imposing in a hospital gown.

Alexxia couldn't believe in her entire 16 years of being alive that she had gotten slapped. She knew there was a fiest time for everything but really? Alexxia nodded and ran to get a head nurse. She didn't find one at first but when she finally did she walked over. "You need to come quick before things get ugly" Alexxia exclaimed

Back in the room Alicia looked pissed. "I gave you everything you ungrateful prick. I am more of a woman then that bitch Kedzie!" Alicia screamed at him.

The nurse drew her wand and followed at a light jog. "Best not waste time then, girl. Show me!" she ordered, assuming it was happening in the hospital but not really sure because the girl hadn't said. Since she hadn't specified another place though, that seemed a good place to start out with.

Humphrey couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculous she sounded when she said she'd given him everything. "You took everything away from me, Alicia. I had somebody I loved who loved me back, and you spat on that. Not only that you pissed off the only person in this entire school who actually cared about you with Cole and chased him into Kedzie's arms. You're not mad at me...you're mad at yourself." he told her, shaking his head. Even though he may have seemed dismissive of her, he had found his wand and was holding I at his side in case she gave him a reason to defend himself.

Alexxia had to stop the gasp that wanted to pass her lips at the tone of the nurse but she nodded and gestured for her to follow and as she got back into the room she stopped when she saw Humphrey up. "You shouldn't be out of bed" Alexxia instructed.

Alicia smirked at Humphrey when he said she took everything. "Your damn straight I did, did you honestly think that I gave a damn about you or Cole? You both were cocks that I wanted to fuck and that's it. But I have to say it was funny watching the mindless you tear into Kedzie like that. Hell she gave you everything and you tore her apart. I mean its no wonder she didn't tell you her secret" Alicia grinned but then rolled her eyes when that bitch came back in with the nurse.

Humphrey listened to what Alicia had to say and frowned, wondering what it was she hadn't dared to tell him when they had still been together. "Alicia, whatever she chose to not tell me is her personal business. I suggest you stop worrying less about other people's business and focus on your own. You do realize you're about to be in a world of hurt because of all this, don't you?" he asked her, his voice sharp.

When the other Gryffindor came back in he smiled and got back in bed, giving her a shrug. "Hello again, Miss Bliss. Sorry about that but when a bully is physically assaulting a student I wasn't just going to stand idly by and let her keep slapping you or do something worse. It had to be done." he told her, before waving to the nurse behind her. "This is the girl who dosed me with the potion, she seems rather put out I'm back to my normal self." he informed her.

The nurse raised an eyebrow at what had just been told to her by the Ravenclaw boy. "And how do I know you aren't making either of those allegations up to get her out of your room, boy? Those are quite serious claims." she told him.

Humphrey looked at her seriously. "If you'd like to see pensieve memories or have it asked of me under veritaserum I'd be happy to oblige. Just let me know when and where."

An older nurse like her could appreciate just what the boy was willing to do and gave a nod. "If we can't find the evidence on our own we'll keep that in mind. Alicia, you and me need to visit the headmaster's office. Miss Bliss, make sure Mr. Williams is doing well, and if nothing more is amiss he is free to go after a healthy lunch here in the hospital wing." she instructed the girl. Turning to the redhead, she took her firmly by the elbow and started marching her out the door. "You have a lot of explaining to do, girl."

Alicia couldn't help but giggle. "Even if it involves the well being of your unborn child?" Alicia grinned but was interrupted by the nurse and the Gryffindor bitch coming back. She looked at the nurse and tried to protest when she was grabbed by the arm, with a stern look Alicia shut up and followed her out.

Alexxia watched as Alicia and the nurse left before looking at the blonde boy in front of her. "Wow, so that is the girl that took everything from you? I have to say I would have thought she'd be prettier, I mean I have seen her around but I keep to myself and my small group of friends" Alexxia replied. "Is there anything I can do before I leave for the day? You look like you need rest and lunch" Alexxia asked.

Humphrey blinked in astonishment as what she said hit him like a ton of bricks. Surely that couldn't be it, he'd thought they were careful. "That...that can't be right. And even if it is, it's not my decision to make." he said quietly, pain spiking through him at that admission. Regardless of whether it was because of the potion or not, the fact was him and Kedzie were over. He doubted she would even want to speak with him, let alone discuss the future of a child with him...if it did exist that is.

"Yeah, that's her. She considers herself the queen of Hogwarts but from what I've gathered most people can barely stand her. Lots of girls are smarter, and definitely prettier. I mean you definitely are." he told her, without even really thinking about it. After he said that he mentally cursed himself for acting like an idiot. He didn't want to make things uncomfortable with one person who seemed to care what happened to him. "Lunch first, and then I'll get some more rest. You've already done more than enough Miss Bliss, thanks for caring enough to check up on me. Maybe...if it's not too much trouble that is, maybe we could have a butterbeer or something as my thank you for coming to the rescue?" he asked hopefully.

Alexxia couldn't help but giggle when it came to the whole Alicia situation, she didn't like her and she had just met her. "Well I have to say I just met her officially right now and I have to say her and my face don't like her one bit" the brunette couldn't help but giggle at her joke. When he said how he was going to get lunch and rest, she nodded her head. When he asked her about a butterbeer or something for a thanks, she thought about it.

"I wouldn't mind doing that as friends of course, but I think before that you need to talk to Kedzie, she deserves to hear you speak even if she doesn't want to listen" Alexxia responded before walking out and going back to her dorm room.

Humphrey was glad she seemed to be able to make jokes about it, but he looked at her with a bit of concern. "You're sure you don't need to put anything on that or something? Feel free to say what you want about her but she does seem to know how to throw a pretty good slap at least." he said, biting his lip slightly in worry. If she hadn't been there to call the cavalry he knew things would have gone much worse.

"I'm more than happy to talk to her, but my bet would be she's avoiding me after our last encounter. Some pretty nasty things were said." he admitted. As he tried to contemplate what that would be like Alexxia walked out. Shortly after he had his lunch and nap, then was released from the hospital to go back to normal life as best he could.
